The one-day EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation instructor-led course provides a comprehensive introduction to the EU GDPR and a practical overview of the implications and legal requirements for EU organisations of any size. It leads to the IBITGQ GDPR Foundation Certificate.
Prerequisites:
While there are no formal entry requirements, this is a professional course, and it assumes that delegates have at least an awareness of the concept of data protection and personally identifiable information, gained through practical experience or reading.
Course Agenda:
Module I GDPR context, definitions, penalties
Module II Principles (first part & cont.)
Module III Rights of the data subject
Module IV Controller and processor (first part & cont.)
Module V Transfers of personal data
Module VI Independent supervisory authorities
Course Exam
IBITGQ GDPR F Exam:
The end of course exam will take place in the afternoon, at about 4.00 PM. The exam consists of 40 questions with multiple choice answers; candidates have a maximum of 60 minutes to complete the exam. The pass mark is 65%.
