Anger Management at work
Course Description
One of the paradoxes of anger is that it can often rouse people from apathy to action and generate innovative solutions to problems. However, it is a destructive force that results in greater difficulties. Every problem resolved using anger can be more skilfully, permanently and constructively solved without it.
In organisations, anger can erode trust, diminish morale and motivation and undermine collaboration and team relationships. Over time, anger can sabotage strategic plans and create a culture of naming, shaming and blaming. The challenge for those who habitually resort to anger to get attention, achieve results and seek assistance is to recognise the behaviour and develop a strategy to work effectively using more positive behaviours.
